Specialist Assessment of Autism & ADHD in Children & Young People

We are a team of clinical psychologists, speech and language therapists, and assistant psychologists, specialising in the assessment of autism and ADHD in children and young people. Led by Dr Kate Baldry, The Autism Practice provides diagnostic assessments, post assessment support, and therapeutic interventions for neurodiverse children and young people.

As a team, we are passionate about providing high quality assessments which follow NICE guidelines and draw upon our specialist training and experience of working in the field of neurodevelopmental conditions.

The Autism Practice also provides assessment of learning difficulties and learning disabilities, including assessment of intellectual and cognitive functioning.

Our approach aims to provide a greater understanding of a child’s or young person’s needs and places supporting children and young people at the centre of the assessment process and interventions we offer. Our post-assessment support and therapeutic interventions are tailored to individual needs, offering both 1:1 support and work with parents and families.

The Autism Practice is based in Northampton and so we primarily work with children, young people, and their families within Northamptonshire and the surrounding counties.
